Let me keep company always
with those who say “look!”
And laugh in astonishment, and bow their heads.

This session means a heck of a lot to me, so I've been procrastinating putting it up. I finally got to visit the Lucases in Seattle over Labor Day weekend, and check out their stomping grounds. Crazy to think they moved there 3.5 years ago (WHAT??!), and the last time I visited was a day trip (lol) April 2016.

What do you do when you realize you've got MODELS as friends and the PNW as your backdrop? If you've lucked out with Jen as your friend, she will LITERALLY BUY A WHITE DRESS, SCOUT LOCATIONS, AND DRIVE 6 HOURS to give you the mountain elopement shoot of your dreams. Find your own Jen, this one's mine.

This weekend trip was the respite and reset I didn't realize I needed so badly - there's nothing like sweet friend time, adorable dogs, and the West Coast to remind me how fortunate I am in life. Below are some photos from our wanderings in Seattle, the puppers Eevee and Koda, and our "styled shoot" (aka Angie Photo Fun Times) at Diablo Lake clad with florals fresh from Pike Place Market. I'm just the luckiest.

PS: Jen is a talented videographer, so check out her work here | Jennifer Sohl Films | and hire her for your wedding! Or you know, both of us. You can't go wrong hiring a best friend duo to cover your wedding!
